Chandra is an award-winning filmmaker and environmental advocate with over two decades of experience working at the intersection of sustainability and storytelling. Her work as a producer and director, spanning feature films, documentaries, and television series, has screened on major networks like HBO, CBS, and PBS, as well as at film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca. Currently at Netflix, Chandra serves as an advisor to film and series creators who wish to bring environmental stories to the screen.
Chandra holds a Master’s in Environmental Science from Yale University and a BFA in Film and Television Production from NYU. She has been a fellow of both the National Audubon Society and the National Tropical Botanical Garden, an active Board member and volunteer, and a member of the Producers Guild of America.
