Aletta (they) is a queer writer, organizer, and strategist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are a member of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO’s Youth Working Group, and a former Fulbright Research Fellow in Jordan. They are trilingual in English, Spanish, and Levantine Arabic. They previously worked as a Program Analyst at the EPA and a Research Associate at the Environmental Law Institute. They are passionate about the power of storytelling, climate justice, and youth organizing. They received their B.A. with Honors from Wesleyan University in 2015. In their free time, they love rowing, boxing, and biking along the Mississippi.
