Surfing Saves

Using surfing as a metaphor for life, Surfing Saves illuminates the ever-emerging stories of how surfing saves people, those people become inspired to save the places they love and how, as a global community, surfers are helping to save our planet.

Surfing Saves highlights the art of reading and riding waves as an ultimate metaphor for life because, scientifically speaking, everything in our world is made of waves. Utilizing that metaphor, we dive deeply into the personal experiences of how surfing saves us through reintegrating humanity back into nature. The elation and inspiration that surfing in the ocean imparts to its participants causes a transformative reaction. Values are reformed and nature takes its rightful role at the forefront of our minds and hearts. Surfing Saves is a multi-dimensional exploration of the individuals, organizations and communities that have been inspired by surfing and the myriad of ways in which they give back to protect the planet we live on. Surfing Saves works with conservation organizations to craft an impact campaign that uses the metaphor of surfing to guide us towards large scale collaboration in order to holistically regenerate our ecology, community and economy.
