Deyah holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she led climate justice workshops, developed a student micro-credential program, and organized service projects in partnership with Indigenous nonprofits and the university’s Climate Justice Team. She also served on the Environmental Board and supported fossil fuel divestment initiatives and local grassroots campaigns.
She began her professional career planning the Climate Summit for San Mateo County, then worked at Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability on a U.S. DOE–funded clean energy resilience project. Most recently, she served as an Associate at Climate Rights International.
Outside of work, Deyah is passionate about poetry, singing, and songwriting.
