Delicious Revolution
A personal quest for delicious nourishing food for all
My Delicious Revolution chronicles Bumjoo’s transformative journey from battling physical and mental health issues to discovering healing through food, unveiling the potential for food as a profound connector to culture, nature and ourselves.
If she wasn’t pushed to the edge by autoimmune diagnoses, and burnout after a carefully built 20-year corporate career, she might still be chasing fleeting dopamine hits through obsessive shopping to fill ever-increasing void. She thought that she was living the dream – climbing an endless corporate ladder – unaware that she was falling apart both mentally and physically. The ecological crisis unfolding around her never even crossed her mind.
Despite gluten and dairy free diets and pills to manager her autoimmune conditions, her symptoms only worsen. Desperate, she resorts to the last-ditch effort: healing through food. Even as her ever-supportive husband questions the absurdity of the idea, it somehow makes sense to her. What she doesn’t expect is how profoundly that decision would change everything.
