Redford Center Statement of Privacy

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the www.redfordcenter.org (the “Website”) and the Redford Center (“we” or “us” or “our”) and governs data collection and usage. The Redford Center website is a non-profit site. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to the Redford Center include www.redfordcenter.org and Redford Center. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully prior to joining our mailing list, creating an account, or accessing or using the Website. If you do not agree to abide by this Statement of Privacy, please do not access or use the Website.


Collection of Your Personal Information

Sharing your information with Redford Center is voluntary. Redford Center may collect personally information that you voluntarily give us, such as your name and email address, when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Redford Center, such as subscribing to our mailing list, creating an account on the Website, applying for our programs or making donations.

In addition, information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Redford Center when you interact with the Website. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Website.

Redford Center collects and uses your personal information to operate the Website and deliver the services you have requested through the Website, for example content requested through our mailing list(s), making donations or evaluating your application(s) for our programs. Redford Center may also use your personally information to inform you of other products or services available from Redford Center and its affiliates. Redford Center may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. Redford Center does not engage in any automatic decision making (including profiling) with your personal data.

Redford Center takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the data you provide to us, please be aware that despite Redford Center’s efforts, no Internet, email or other electronic transmission is ever fully secure, impenetrable or error free. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties and we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal data to the Redford Center.  Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us in this way.

We comply will all applicable data breach notifications laws and will provide notice of a breach in accordance with such laws. 


Children’s Privacy

Redford Center does not knowingly solicit or collect personally information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 18, please contact us using the contact information and procedures provided in this Statement of Privacy. If we learn that personal information of persons under age 18 has been collected without verified parental consent, we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.

You have certain rights to control the personal information Redford Center collect you through the Website. You may at any time and at no cost review or change the data Redford Center has about you by contacting us using the contact information and procedures provided in this Statement of Privacy. To protect the security, you may need to provide the request in writing or in other methods which enable verification of your identity. Redford Center does not charge for your first reasonable access request, however we will charge a certain amount of cost for the requests that are repetitive and exceed reasonable limits.   • Request deletion of the personal information we collect and store about you
  • Restrict the processing of your personal information.
  • A right to obtain a copy of your personal information to exert your data portability rights.
  • Object to the automated processing of your personal information and profiling.

Redford Center will comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Redford Center may still retain your information to comply with legal requirements or otherwise as permitted by applicable laws. In such case, your personal information will not be used for any other purpose. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to any applicable data protection authority in your country of residence.
