Sustainable Change. It’s an idea that’s time has come.
A Message from Executive Director Lee Bycel
Here at the Redford Center, we are committed to promoting change for the good – both lasting and sustainable. At the core of our work is the belief that our world can be more just, humane and compassionate.
Our work has emerged from a 40-year Sundance tradition of artistic expression, environmental conservation and social activism. We offer a variety of programs in northern California and in Utah at the Sundance Preserve. We value:
The Story. The need for change is best told through arts in story, in film, in writing, in theatre; our stories change perceptions, attitudes, and action. The Ethic. Business and all human enterprise can be led and run in socially and environmentally responsible ways. The Discourse. Conversation, which embodies respect and listening, leads to a shared common ground and sustainable change. The Action. Our programs are designed to promote action among individuals, local communities, and national groups.
We invite you to participate in the Redford Center. Attend a program. Join a discussion. Commit to a cause. Share your story. Inspire others. Affect change. This is a place to do all these things.
Warm Regards,
Lee |
